Dr. Mohammed Ouali
Associate Professor of Computer Science
Computer Science, Department Chair
Dr. Ouali received his M.Sc. degree (1995) in Computer Science and Engineering from Universite de Versailles Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, Paris, France, Ph.D. (2000) in Real-Time, Robotics, and Automatic Control from Mines ParisTech, Paris, France, and Ph.D. (2000) in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Qc, Canada. Dr. Ouali has more than 20 years of experience as a faculty member in academia or as a senior member of technical staff in the industry. Before joining Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, Dr. Ouali was with Thales Canada—Ground Transportation Services, as a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer designing and developing safety critical, real-time, and embedded systems.
Dr. Ouali is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers since 1995.
Dr. Yasser M. Alginahi,
Professor of Computer Science
Dr. Yasser M. Alginahi received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University, Dayton, OH and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada. Prior to joining Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, he worked as a research associate and instructor at the University of Windsor, and as a faculty member at Taibah University in Saudi Arabia. With over 20 years of experience in teaching computer science and engineering, Dr. Alginahi has authored a book and over 80 journal and conference publications. His research interests include machine learning, information security, pattern recognition, and 5G networks. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada, Senior Member of IEEE since 2006 and a member of several other professional organizations. He also serves on the editorial board of several international journals and has served as a reviewer for many journals and conferences.
