丝瓜视频 offers current high school students the opportunity to take college courses through Dual Enrollment.听 High school students may take courses at 丝瓜视频 during any term: Fall, Spring, May, or Summer.

Benefits of Dual Enrollment

Benefits of enrolling in college classes while in high school:

• Earning credits that can be transferred to college.
• Saving money by taking the courses prior to college. The student does not have to pay for these college courses.
• Gaining exposure to a college environment (if taking in-person courses) and college-level learning.

Students who take advantage of the opportunity to dual enroll in college courses often earn as much as a year鈥檚 worth of college classes by the time they finish high school.

丝瓜视频 participates in the Michigan Transfer Agreement, which allows students to seamlessly transfer the听courses they take at other Michigan colleges and universities听to 丝瓜视频.

Cost

Nonpublic and private high school students may enroll in any class offered at 丝瓜视频.听 The State of Michigan pays for the cost of dual enrollment.听 This includes tuition, course fees, textbooks, and required materials. Public high school students may take any class offered at 丝瓜视频 for $125/credit hour.听 Some courses have pre-requisite requirements and these must be met in order to enroll in those courses.听 To find which courses have pre-requisite requirements, please look at the semester class schedule.

Course Options

Many dual enrollment students take courses in math, psychology, sociology, history, the natural sciences, religion, philosophy, business, economics, languages, and other courses that are easily transferred to most colleges. In addition to these, 丝瓜视频 offers courses in:

The Process

Upon acceptance into the dual enrollment program at 丝瓜视频, the student will have an 丝瓜视频 email account created for them, will be registered in the courses of their choice, and will be contacted with their new email address and class schedule.

Students should be aware that if they intend to enroll in 丝瓜视频 as undergraduate students, their grades in dual enrollment will count toward their college GPA.

Once enrolled, students will be subject to all policies, rules and regulations of 丝瓜视频.听 Enrollment in dual enrollment classes constitutes consent to abide by the standards outlined in the 丝瓜视频 Student Handbook and Undergraduate Catalog.
