The NATA is the national association for athletic trainers. This site offers outstanding public resources and information about what it takes to become a certified athletic trainer (ATC). The GLATA is the association for District 4 including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois. Athletic Training Students may become GLATA members to attend conferences, network, and benefit from academic scholarship opportunities.

The MATS is Michigan鈥檚 state association. If you are a member of the NATA and a resident of Michigan, membership to this society is free. State membership allows for outstanding educational opportunities, athletic training student scholarships, and important public education regarding the profession of athletic training.

The BOC is the national certifying body for athletic trainers. This site will offer all the necessary information for preparing and registering for the national certification exam, state licensure, as well as continuing education requirements in order to maintain certification.
